CEO Anders Sødal Ranheim and Technical Director Thomas Albech were present at the annual general meeting to accept the prestigious award.
“This is a real highlight for us at Østlandske VVS! We are incredibly proud and grateful for this award,” says a beaming duo.
A safe environment for learning and development
Judge Roar Nilsen, CEO of Notodden Rørleggerforretning AS, announced the winner. The jury placed particular emphasis on how Østlandske VVS manages and structures the apprenticeship program to create the best conditions for growth.
In his statement of reasons, Nilsen said, among other things:
“At Østlandske VVS, apprentices get a clear and secure start, dedicated mentors, and gradually increasing responsibility—always with room for questions, growth, and learning along the way. The company places great emphasis on building trust and creating an environment where it’s safe to learn, try new things, and make mistakes.”
Provides motivation to keep moving forward
Being named “Training Company of the Year 2026” is a great honor, but at Østlandske VVS, this is no reason to rest on our laurels. On the contrary, the award serves as fuel for our continued efforts to recruit new talent to the industry.
“This award gives us tremendous motivation to work even harder to develop skilled apprentices, foster a strong sense of professional pride, and ensure recruitment to the plumbing trade in the years to come,” conclude Ranheim and Albech.
We’d like to extend a big thank you to all our wonderful employees and apprentices who help create the positive and safe learning environment we’re so proud of every day! 👷♀️👷♂️👏
